Emily & Austin
From behind the lens, this wedding felt like one of those rare days where everything simply clicked. Sunlight poured across the open fields, that warm, golden kind that photographers dream about—soft enough to flatter, bright enough to make every color sing. The sun hung low in the afternoon sky, wrapping the entire scene in a glow that felt intimate and timeless.
And then Emily arrived—on horseback. It was one of those moments where you forget to breathe for a second. The quiet strength of the horse, the movement of her dress, the way the light caught her as she rode in—it was cinematic without trying to be. Completely her, completely unforgettable.
The whole day balanced elegance and rustic charm in the most natural way. The delicate florals of Emily's dress, Austin's best pair of denim jeans, the beautiful bouquets and matching shotgun shell boutonnieres. And don't forget the cowboy boots! Nothing felt overdone; everything felt intentional. Guests laughed easily, emotions unfolded honestly, and every frame told a story that didn’t need embellishment.
As a photographer, it was a gift—beautiful light, meaningful moments, and a couple so clearly at home in their setting. I will never stop raving about this perfect day. A warm hug and huge congratulations to Austin and Emily!
Emily & Austin
This proposal holds a very special place in my heart. A few days before I had scheduled a fall photoshoot with my dear friend Emily and her horses, Austin reached out to me with some spectacular news. He was going to propose!
As the session with the horses wrapped up on that beautiful autumn evening, Austin suggested some couples portraits at the top of the hay field, to which I wholeheartedly agreed. Emily's complete surprise and happiness at the proposal brought tears to my eyes.
I had taken couples portraits of Emily, Austin, and their dog Oakley back in 2022. They had been dating for two years at that time. They just celebrated their five year anniversary in January, 2025 as an engaged couple.
Capturing their unwavering love for each other over the years has been such an honor. I am so happy for Emily and Austin and the journey they are embarking on together!
Jenn & Chris
A few months after I took Jenn and Chris's engagement photos, it was time to shoot their wedding. It was a beautiful afternoon at Worthington Vineyard and Winery in Somers, Connecticut. The rows of white hydrangeas, the rolling fields and tranquil ponds, the gentle rays of sunlight illuminating the faces of cheerful friends and family. The ceremony was heartfelt and the reception was joyous!
Weddings can be exciting yet strenuous on a couple. There is so much effort that goes into making sure the day is perfect. In the hustle and bustle after the ceremony, Jenn and Chris were flooded with hugs of congratulations and well-wishes from friends and relatives. I noticed, however, that this adoring couple managed to slow time again, and again, whenever they gazed into each others' eyes. Their love continues to awe me. I wish Jenn and Chris all the best as they start their next adventure together.
Jenn & Chris
Capturing Jenn and Chris's gentle adoration for each other has been an absolute pleasure. From the moment they arrived at the engagement session on the back of a Harley Davidson, I knew they would be fun and easygoing. We traipsed around the meadows of the Quabbin Reservoir, bathed in golden sunlight on a perfect summer evening. I could tell that their love was secure, steadfast. They seemed to melt into each other, stopping time itself with every kiss and loving gaze.
Austin & Sara
My cousin Austin and his wife Sara got engaged in the Spring of 2022. They asked if I would take their engagement photos that summer and I was ecstatic! We spent our session on the beautiful shore of Lake Michigan and I watched their devotion for each other unfold. They ran through the sand and danced in the waves. Their love was joyful and genuine, playful and passionate. It was a perfect evening to watch the sparks fly between them.
